Motorcycle Ride

Shawn and I got to go on our first motorcycle ride on Saturday with Chili and his wife Lindsey (our cousins). We've been dying to ride since we've had the motorcycle since December and just barely got the title for it so we could register it and ride it (legally). We went for a nice drive up Ogden canyon and went around Pineview Dam and then stopped at the Oaks for some icecream on the way back. I was on back, of course, because what man wants to ride on back! It took me almost the whole trip to finally relax and totally entrust my life to Shawn. That's when I started actually enjoying the ride. I stopped freaking out when we turned or pulled up behind cars. I was also the only one who didn't have a full face helmet, which made it quite difficult to catch my breath when we were going 70mph. You have to suck hard enough to literally force the air up your nose. It sure was fun, though. Shawn and I are hoping to take our driving tests next week so we don't have these stupid paper permits anymore. Wish us luck!
